In case you missed Dan Dawson’s and Holly Krassner’s column in the Napa Valley Register yesterday, I recommend you click on over. I am sure most of us in the Napa Valley can relate to this: the phenomenon of living in a place brimming with wineries, yet no time to visit them all.
For example, it’s a gorgeous weekend here, and what do I find myself doing? Household things and gardening. Not blogworthy.
However, Robin, Natasha and I did pop by Bottega Thursday evening for another post-Pilates bite–which meant that we were all in our workout gear. (Ahem. I am going to start traveling with a change of clothes in the car.) We each had the shaved Brussels sprouts salad–our go-to for as long as the salad is on the menu–and slices of ahi tuna with mushrooms and a wonderful something-something sauce.
As I told Robin and Natasha, one of these days we have to put on our stepping out clothes when we step out. Three single ladies on the prowl in the Napa Valley? What could happen? (Note the gentle facetiousness.) Stay tuned for that adventure.
