I love the Napa Valley, and let’s face it, what’s not to love?*
I’ll say it now: This is not a wine blog. Though I was born in St. Helena and have lived in the Valley for ten years of my adult life, I’m hardly a wine expert. (I’ll leave that to finer palates.) Inspired by those who put “locavore” on tongues and in dictionaries everywhere, Napavore focuses on the places, the people, the food and, yes, the wine available right under my nose. I don’t claim to be an expert; I only claim to enjoy.
Herein lies my experience of the Napa Valley.
*Okay, if you twist my arm, I might cough up a couple of challenges inherent to small-town living, but these are really champagne (or should I say sparkling?) problems.
